In my previous post I referred to the fact that the author of 'A New Earth', Eckhart Tolle, was born at the 180 phase of a Jupiter/Uranus cycle. As a quick reminder, this astrological parlance means that events of a Jupiter/Uranus nature (inspiration, cutting edge ideas, sudden revelations, forward thinking etc) will unfold for him as the cycle unfolds. 'The Net' corresponds to the Uranus/Neptune cycle as well as the Jupiter/Uranus cycle. The former should be tracked for the impact the Net has on the collective and the latter for changes and innovations to the original technology.
Tim Berners-Lee is the man who first began the 'weaving of the web'. He was born on 8 June 1955 in London with Jupiter and Uranus in conjunction. The web itself was unofficially born in the 198o's and on 30 April 1993 in Geneva, it gained the rubber stamp from CERN. This weeks birthday was not only accompanied by the Jupiter/Uranus sextile but also a plethora of interviews with experts and technical boffins talking about how this technology will develop in the future.
One such interview was with a person known as a Futurologist. This caught my eye because the world of Futurologists is very similar to that of Astrologers - although I'm sure they would pretentiously dismiss the notion! They track trends and cycles and forecast likely scenarios using various analytical models; one of which is to look back at the past to predict the future. We do exactly the same and often with more success.
This particular gentleman I was watching, Ray Hammond, had a very worthy claim to fame for he was the only person to have predicted the commercial potential of the Internet, way back in the '80's. These days he is a prolific author and public speaker. Among many other things,his current topics include:

If only these people had enough vision to see the benefits of hooking up with astrologers, just imagine how accurate their futurism would become. For example Ray alludes to 2010 being a turning point. Astrologers know that 2010 is incredibly significant. On 8 June 2010 (Tim Berners-Lee's birthday) Jupiter meets Uranus for the start of a new cycle at the World point of 0 Aries.
The start of all cycles denotes the birth of something new, but also the death or end of the previous cycle. It is at this point that technology or a new invention/application or even some unexpected knowledge is going to change our world. The transition point of the death and birth phase of a cycle at a cardinal angle is always a very visible manifestation. In other words this won't be something percolating in the collective mind, whatever June 2010 portends will be right there in our face for us all to see - maybe connected to our physicality.
Tim Berners-Lee will coincidentally be having his Saturn return and a series of progressions involving Jupiter in June 2010. He'll be far too young to be departing this plane so we can only hope that he is either working on some new idea right now that will take the Internet to another level in 2010, or his opinion will be highly sought after over what transpires around then. Something will be bringing his name firmly back into the public eye. Have futurologists seen that!?
